Boiler Conversion in Brentford

Plumbing Wise were called out to Brentford recently for a big boiler conversion job. When we got to the home we removed the old Baxi boiler, cylinder, tanks, pumps, port valves and stat and then we installed one of the new Valliant ecoTec Pro Combination 29kw Condensing boilers as well as a new room stat and magnaclean.

After fitting the new boiler, we had to install the vertical flue that was required. This involved some essential roof work that was carried out to make it weatherproof.

Warm Front Scheme

Grants are available for people over the age of 60 as part of the Warm Front Scheme. The scheme, that is designed to improve heating and insulation in the home, gives people over the age of 60 a £300 grant for any boiler repair or replacement.

The Warm Front Scheme has been extremely successful in helping senior residents gain more efficient and sustainable homes. Since 2001 thousands of people have used the Warm Front Scheme to make necessary insulation and heating installations.

Plumbing Wise are registered installers under The Warm Front scheme to carry out such installations.

How does it work?

Plumbing Wise will gladly assist you in completing the form to ascertain if you are eligible for the grant or not. If you are, then you will be provided with a voucher with a unique reference code attributed to it. Upon completion of the installation, payment for the installation will be provided to Plumbing Wise from yourself less the rebate of £300 . After this, Plumbing Wise will, using the reference number provided on the voucher, then apply to Warmfront for the £300 that is outstanding.
