Boiler Servicing, Certification and Maintenance

Boiler breakdown and repair Plumbing Wise can undertake servicing work to maintain your gas appliances helping you to extend their lifetime lengths and efficiency. Whilst your boiler and central heating system might appear to be working well, it is important that once a year your system has a service on it. This is to avoid inconvenient and costly breakdowns but also to improve the efficiency of the gas appliances and the central heating system in general.

The customer will be provided with a Gas Safety Certificate coupled with a print out reading of the Combustion Analysis test.

	The services will include:
	Gas soundness and electricity continuity tests and safety valve mechanism checks.
	Combustion Analysis tests (in accordance with Health and Safety regulations).
	Adjustment of burner pressure to improve efficiency.
	General clean out of Heat Exchangers/Burners if necessary.
	Emptying of any condensate trap waste

For any boilers that Plumbing Wise install, we will contact you after 10 and 11 months to arrange the first annual service during the month thereafter.

Carbon Monoxide is a by-product of gas fuelled appliances and is a potentially fatal one if leaking from any one of your gas products. It is estimated that around 50 deaths a year in the UK alone, are attributed to carbon monoxide leakages, so it is imperitive that any leaks are not left untreated. Hence, this i why having a services of your boiler every year can prevent this from occurring. Our highly trained engineers have the necessary equipment and experience to both trace and repair such a leak in a short time.

Gas safety certificates

It is a legal requirement that Landlords have a Gas Safety inspection carried out on their gas appliances once a year to show that they have been properly installed, services and are safe.Our engineers at Plumbing Wise are qualified to carry out these checks and to provide Certificates to the landlords, tenants and agents.
