The Conventional Boiler
The Vaillant EcoTec Plus Heat Only are the original conventional type gas boilers and are a modern replacement for the older floor standing and back-boiler configurations. Most commonly used when you are keeping the existing plumbing system where you may have a feed/expansion tank in your loft.
They can be used for heating, underfloor heating and hot water applications (in conjunction with radiators and a hot water cylinder).
As an independent, wall-hung boiler, all other components listed below are external to it:
- Pump
- Zone valves and bypass
- Time and Temperature controls
EcoTec Plus System Boiler
Output range from 12kW to 37kW
The Vaillant EcoTec System boiler is ideal for a modern re-vamp of your traditional heating setup allowing your heating system to run quieter and smoother in a sealed system.
The Vaillant System boiler is a great option for a new installation or a retro-fit project typically used to replace an existing conventional gas boiler and Feed/Expansion tank. This boiler can be used for heating, underfloor heating and hot water applications (in conjunction with radiators and hot water cylinder).
It has been designed to save space by including the following components within it, thereby eliminating much external plumbing and pipework:
- Pump
- Expansion vessel
- Air vent
- Bypass
The zone valves and time/temperature controls remain external to the boiler.
